Dwight Schultz talking about the accents he'd use for Murdock, the Baltimore accent and improv in The A Team at the SF X Ball in 2004 in England. Dwight Schultz in Dial M for Murder (1981)
Love you Cousin George. He was a perfect kind gentleman to his family. We miss him. ❤
Lol... So he never ever ended the discussion with the guy, that formed the inspiration and foundation to the character Murdock, about why people, come and see you? HAHAHAHA And you never went back to find him? :D LOL
Faceman and Murdock were my favorites. Never was a fan of T, or Hannibal, though it was cool when he lit a cigar and said his famous line, "I love it when a plan comes together!"
George Peppard was a good actor and an @ssh0l3 person
Dwight Schultz really did a lot for the kids back then because they loved Murdock on the A-Team. I remember he also did a lot of "One to Grow On" segments too.
I am fans
I love it when a plan comes together ! RIP Hannibal Smith
Dwight Schultz is WONDERFUL actor - His range goes from comedic to serious in a snap! ❤️
I love it! ❤😂❤❤❤❤😊
What a cutie pie he is ❤❤❤
We saw this movie in theaters and when Barclay showed up spontaneously on screen in this scene my whole family erupted into cheers!!! Anything and everything Barclay is in just elevates the story and screen even more.
Dwight as Murdock was absolutely brilliant.Murdock is my favourite
Came here for Dwight Shultz. Leaving to discover Mandeep Dhillon
La série préférée de mon enfance ❤❤😅😊😂
Roberta Frances Wygant (nee Connolly; November 22, 1926 - February 18, 2024) was an American television news reporter, film critic, talk show host, and interviewer who worked for Fort Worth, Texas, television station KXAS-TV (originally known as WBAP-TV) for over 70 years. She was known for her filmed interviews with celebrities. 97 AÑOS.
What a gently and smooth talking...He has a great personality...We love Dwight Schultz!..
Murdoch and Mr T were the best together and the best of the show. Always wondered if they shoulda had their own show
When I was a kid Murdock was my favorite A team character. Now i know why
It's Eddie spaghetti from IT.
I am going to have to watch the whole thing!! He is just beautiful in the snippet 🥰🥰🥰
I love it when a plan comes together.
George was also great in Banacek.
Now you know why Dirk and Dwight are life long friends. They put up with a lot on the A-team. Almost like kids in a family watching mom and dad fight all the time.
Glad Dwight and Dirk are good friends.Shame George was so difficult to get on with.
Any body know where I can find the talking part of before the theme starts on vinyl?
Funny that this interview begins with Dwight Schultz jogging, because among his great many other talents displayed on the A-Team (besides comedy), he was a very fast runner and very agile. He had so much talent and such a wide range (deep drama, subtlety, and comedy, not to mention all sorts of accents and impersonations), I don't think Hollywood (outside of the A-Team) knew how to write for him.
Nice post. There aren`t too many interviews of A Team cast members, outside of T, that are around during their run.
Thats cracked lad in the a team
Dwight is under rated actor
The man who saved Voyager.
My favorite character on the show was Howlin' Mad Murdock. Funniest character.
Murdock was always my favourite too.
This dude is loaded all day 😂
Steve Blum was in "my life as a teenage robot" as the squish while Dwight Schultz was in CatDog as Eddie the squirrel.
Murdoch you naughty man
With copper tubing I did home made still , nice moonshine. Thank you Dr.Barley (I mean Barclay)
Not my favorite Star Trek film but we’ll done
Young Dwight Schultz is so pretty.
A babe ❤🥰
Did anyone notice that that gizmo Barclay is holding is part of the Spaceship from Forbidden Planet?
James Cromwell is such an underrated actor. I have always enjoyed his movies.
He has such range too, playing a huge variety of characters. In the 90s alone he did this film, Babe, and L.A. Confidential, all very different but all masterful performances.
@@Stefanthenautilus Babe, forgot about that one, yeah super role for him. I have the MASH DVD collection and he's in an episode where he plays a friend of BJ's. he's funny as all get out. just found ti interview with him... ua-cam.com/video/3OSzXuGAPM4/v-deo.html
He was also in Deep Space Nine in one of the early seasons as one of the Gamma Quadrant aliens that Quark had dealings with, a peripheral contact to the Dominion before they came on the scene.
@@keithtorgersen9664 right on!
So, to put it more succinctly, George was a prima donna and a bit of a douchebag.
If you actually had a brain you’d actually understand what Dwight was really saying. Maybe you can write to Santa Claus and ask for a new brain next Christmas.
@@IrishScribbler No, I believe in giving to those less fortunate. You need it worse than me. Perhaps you can share it with your buddies on the short bus.
As a kid I did not make the connection about the scene, I knew who Barkley was but I did not know it was him do to the fact he was not a regular character on the show. Years later and seeing it again, I cant help but be very amused now that I could make the connection now, very nice cameo. Its well written as well because if a viewer did not watch star trek regularly, you could just see him as random but euthanistic crew member making an embarrassment of himself and viewer having a laugh at it. But if you were a Trekie, its just Barkley being his amusing and brilliant but awkward self. Robert Picardo and Ethan Philips were great as well in their cameos, a they did not look out place or taped on unlike we see in modern movies.
-and they say you should never meet your heroes!
They really wrote the character well. Watching him try to hold it together and pretend to be what they expected, but he was far from going into that man yet. They expected him to run when he wasn't even crawling yet. But ultimately cracking under the enormous pressure they put him under, no one can handle that for long.
Can we just stop for a moment and appreciate three of GREAT actors at work?
Can we just stop and ignore your stupid post? Maybe we should take a moment. A Ukrainian war monger how typical.
I'm just here because I thought this was Dwight from the office...
What Barclay is holding looks like the klystron frequency modulator of Forbidden Planet ..
Looks more like something from Cochrane's still for making moonshine.
Even shakes hands like broccoli 🥦🤷🏼♂️🤓😎✌🏻
So happy Reg wasn't on the Enterprise. He absolutely would have been assimilated.
Dwight neglected to mention that George also loved it when a plan came together.
_"Aw, c'mon, this isn't any worse than that 'Pike Thing' we're not supposed to talk about."_
Bit of a shame he was killed off in mass effect.
